10/10 cable is a lot for this beginner

Me 4 days ago: I want to learn cables and this cowl will be cozy and not a fire hazard in lab
Cable knit cowl with three buttons
Now me, every time I get to a cable row: Pls...no...so tight...aaaaack

Ultimately it is looking pretty good now at three repeats into the pattern. But boy, having only watched demos of like 4/4 cables, I did not realize how tight having two 10/10s right next to each other was going to make the stitches while I'm working that row. Every time a family member tries to talk to me during that row I'm just like "ssssshhhhhh, I've already dropped and rescued like half my stitches here."

That is going to be the coziest cowl. Good luck on the cables! Dropping stitches midcable still makes me nervous.

Very cool design! May it turn out well.

(And sympathies on the magnitude of learning experience here.)
